Samhain is more commonly known as Halloween, and falls on October 31.  The final harvest, it is time to celebrate all that’s been accomplished over the past year.  It’s time to honor one’s ancestors, and to pay respects to elders, family members and loved ones.  This festival of darkness is often seen as the Pagan New Year, symbolizing an ending. Fitting, as its the time of the year when the veil between the worlds is the thinnest.
